A 12/24V, battery-powered refrigerator/freezer that does not require an inverter to operate. The maintenance-free, brushless DC compressor allows for direct operation from a battery which increases system efficiency. The outer dimensions of the FR170 are 34 x 29.7 x 26.7 in. and the inner chest dimensions are 26.4 x 26.4 x 17.2 in. Energy efficient features such as extra-think insulation and a lockable lid make the FR170 especially suited for solar-powered applications. Other features include: four glides make moving the FR170 easy and the aluminum lining is easy-to-clean. An interior light, adjustable temperature and a low-frost system that reduces the formation of water condensation and ice.
